Getting to travel AND photograph love at the same time is one of my all time favorite things! I was absolutely thrilled to get to travel out to California to photograph Mysla and Jeridan on their special day! Based on conversations with the bride and groom, I knew their wedding was going to be fun, beautiful, and an overall wonderful experience to get to capture for them! I could not wait to fly out to San Francisco and get started capturing their big day!
Mysla’s day started off with getting ready with her bridesmaids, flower girls, and family. She was pampered by her hair stylist and makeup artist, and she looked absolutely stunning! I was able to capture some really great pictures of the bridal party all in their gorgeous floral robes before it was time to get back to work getting ready. I loved capturing those sweet moments of all the girls preparing for the day together. Jeridan’s day started off with his groomsmen getting ready as well. Although there was less pampering, they had a great time getting into their tuxes and getting ready for pictures. Both Mysla and Jeridan had a blast taking pictures with their family and wedding parties before the ceremony. They opted to not do a first look, so it was time to say ‘I Do’s to get pictures of the happy couple.
I love the color scheme they chose! The deep reds and soft blush colors were absolutely stunning. They carried those colors through with the bridesmaid dresses, bouquets, and rose petals that lined the aisle. After saying their custom vows, they said their ‘I Do’s and it was time for more photos. We took portraits of the whole wedding party and their family inside the beautiful church before heading outside to take more with the beautiful landscape in the background.
Then it was time for the reception. I love love love the floral LOVE! It was so striking and gorgeous. The gold accents in the chairs, name cards, and floral arrangements were so lovely. And how cute were their party favors?! They had little lip balms that said, “Our Love Is The Balm!” I love a good pun. Their cake and cupcake combo was so unique. I loved how they had a little of each. I also loved how unique their head table was for the two of them. The little settee was so old world and beautiful. After speeches, cake cutting, dancing, and more pictures, it was time for the bride and groom to make their exit through a tunnel of their guests. Happily ever after, Mysla and Jeridan!
