Connie started her day off admiring her beautiful wedding gown. It was a perfect princess ball gown with beautiful sweetheart neckline and lace overlay. We whisked it away to take some pictures of it agains the beautiful wooden arched doors and capture its beauty in the sunlight. Connie then began getting ready by getting her makeup done and hair done alongside all of her bridesmaids as well. While the girls were in the thick of preparations, the guys were kicking back and shooting pool. It was so fun to see the way they were each getting ready in such strikingly different ways, yet both of them were in their happy place.

The bride and groom both took portraits with their respective families and wedding parties, and it was suddenly time for the ceremony. The indoor ceremony took place in such a classically beautiful chapel. With details of white and dark wood, the floral arrangements on the pew and altar popped. The windows at the end of each pew let in the most beautiful natural light letting me capture amazing photographs of Connie walking down the aisle with her father. Before they knew it, the couple had said “I Do,” and they were walking down the aisle as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, we quickly got portraits of the new Mr. & Mrs. with their families and the wedding party. The bride and groom were eager to get their pictures done just the two of them to capture some moments alone. They had enjoyed all the excitement of their day, but they were looking forward even more to taking a step back from all the excitement to spend some quiet time together.

Once they were recharged, they were ready to get the party started. The speeches were made, the dances were danced, the cake was cut, and it was time to cut loose. To start the evening off, the couple paid homage to Connie’s heritage by having a traditional Chinese Lion Dance at their ceremony. The guests loved this special touch! Everyone had fun  bouncing between the bar, the photobooth, and the dance floor for the rest of the evening. The couple was sent off by a spectacular fireworks show that perfectly encapsulated what a blast their wedding had been. Congratulations, Connie and Christopher!
